Unphotographed Moments – Day Five
(This post is part of a series for August 2013 entitled “Unphotographed Moments.” Read the intro to the series here.)
Today’s Unphotographed Moments:
Owlet teaching a music class for Granny, Platypup, and I, complete with all the singing and gestures/dancing of a typical class.
Platypup “bold as brass” (a.k.a. being a mudblood) for his first real warm-weather beach experience, digging blissfully in the sand, making splashes by dropping small rocks, and toddling off into the river without hesitation.
Owlet, by comparison, needing to hold hands in the water for the first 10-15 min until she realized it was safe to walk alone. Her delight in being swung in circles in the water combined with her complete willingness to take breaks from this activity whenever I wanted made for a treasure of a moment.
Platypup eating a cozy mother-son dinner for two, sitting in a grown-up chair by himself and requiring no assistance.
Today’s one-shot photo:
Platypup finally conked out nursing a moment ago after frolicking far later than expected on such a busy day.
